Is Barack a lefty? Sweet! I need to add that one to the list of reasons why I relate to Barack Obama. I’m probably the only one who didn’t already know. Hell, there’s even a Lefties for Obama Web site (although they didn’t use MyBo).
And although Barack is first president with a truly “great suntan”, he’s only one of many lefty presidents. Al Gore, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Harry Truman and James Garfield. Ronald Reagan is suspected to be a repressed lefty, and Herbert Hoover is the redheaded stepchild lefty that no one wants to mention. That means while lefties comprise about 10−15% of the total population, they represent a possible 9 out of 44 presidents – about 20%, or 1 in every 5 presidents.
What can I say? We were born to rule!
